The Health Department reported 67 more COVID-19 related deaths, taking the death toll in South Africa to just over 52,602.
New COVID-19 cases are up by over 1,500.
The department says the number of healthcare workers vaccinated under the Sisonke Protocol is 231,002.
SA’s recovery rate is at 95%.
