Mmusi Maimane on Masked singer South Africa? Who would have guessed it? South African politician Mmusi Maimane was unmasked on the Masked Singer South Africa. Wearing a bold Warrior costume, Mmusi was the sixth South African celebrity contestant to be voted out from the mystery singing competition.
After his unmasking, Mmusi shared that he his three children would probably think that he is a “cool guy for participating in the competition.
“Kgosi, Kgalaletso and Kutlwano will think I’m a cool guy”, the Build One South Africa party leader said during his unmasking. So far Banana has been unmasked as Bongani Bingwa, Rooster as Victor Matfield, Zebra as The Lazy Makoti and Soccerman as Doctor Khumalo. Last week, comedian David Kau was unmasked as the Hippo.
From Warrior’s clandestine clues, Sithelo was the only one who correctly guessed that the “hardworking”, “book-smart person” might be a politician. Her guess was Fikile Mabula.
Doughnut, Lollipop, Rhino, Tree, Elephant, Watermelon, Sunflower Robot, Fox, and Lion remain in the running to win the first season of Masked Singer South Africa. Mmusi Maimane turning out to be the Warrior is one guess no one could’ve have ever anticipated.
Many social media users have been shocked by the politicians unexpected appearance in the Masked Singer South Africa competition. One tweep shares her disbelief to the political leader’s appearance: “Not Mmusi Maimane being unmasked on Masked Singer SA. Who would’ve thought”.
