Police investigate allegations that MK party official forged signatures

Deputy Police Minister Cassel Mathale said that accusations that the MK party forged signatures to meet the requirements to register for the elections should be urgently investigated.

Mathale has told the publication that investigators are moving with speed, to get to the bottom of the matter.

He said that elections must be contested with honesty and people must be afforded an opportunity to vote for leaders with integrity.

“At a particular period, in this case by the 29th, people must go and express. In fact from the 27th its special votes. People must go and express themselves, and at that time, this matter must be long concluded because if you don’t, you allow people to express themselves on a fraudulent platform.”
