Johannesburg Metrobus commuters could be left stranded on Monday.
Drivers aligned to trade union Demawusa will continue their wage strike after negotiations with the company deadlocked again.
Bus drivers want an 18-percent increase, which Metrobus says it simply cannot afford.
While operations continued during this week’s negotiations, Metrobus has suspended services for Monday, because of threats of violence and intimidation.
It is urging commuters to make alternative arrangements.
