Meghan Markle celebrates the late Mama Africa Miriam Makeba

Meghan Markle, who is Patron of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), hosted a meeting for the ACU at Buckingham Place, and the accompanying photos were posted to Instagram to the familiar and nostalgic sounds of Makeba’s Pata Pata.

Over the last week, Meghan and Harry have performed an array of royal engagements , their last, before sailing off into the sunset after announcing their intention to quit being full-time royals in January.

The couple were expected back in Canada, where their son 10-month old son Archie remained, on Wednesday.

In other news – Mass funeral underway for Centane bus crash victims

Twenty-six coffins have arrived at the Cebe Junior Secondary School in Centane in the Eastern Cape for the funeral of the 26 people who died in a bus crash on March 2. About 2 500 mourners are already inside the tent for the mass funeral.
