A specialist practice in Midrand / Centurion is seeking to recruit an experienced medical receptionist.
Requirements:
- Smooth and effective functioning of the practice
- Ensure a presentable reception area
- Diary management and patient bookings
- Email correspondence
- Medical aid liaison
- Preparation of patient files and administrative duties
- Theatre list preparation and anesthesiology arrangements
- Cash and credit card payments and receipting thereof
- Management of petty cash
- Management of certain sundries and stock control and ordering
- Patient liaison
- Efficient communication with health care professionals and other medical practices
- Maintain confidentiality
Qualification:
- At least 5 years experience in a similar medical receptionist position
- Elixir experience essential
Skills and attributes:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Computer literacy
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Well-presented and professional
- Build professional relationships with doctors and patients to promote patient-doctor interaction
Working hours:
– Monday to Friday, 08h00 – 16h00 with overtime as an when required
