SAA resumes flights to Mauritius

SAA has reinstated flights to Mauritius. The island paradise was on lockdown due to the anticipated Tropical Cyclone Calvinia.

The national carrier said in a statement it has increased capacity to accommodate passengers impacted by the cancellations.

SAA has cancelled all flights to the island on Monday as wind speeds reach over 120km/h were recorded.

Several offices and businesses across the country have been forced to shut down.
