Support-a-Paedic Cape Town is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Company.

Qualifications and Experience:

Matric or equivalent qualification.
±3 general factory maintenance experience.
Machine repair experience, preferably in the Extrusion department.
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the manufacturing industry.
Welding, hydraulics, pneumatics and fabrication experience.
Electrical or electronic repairing experience is advantageous.
Ability to read and interpret machine instruction manuals.
Excellent attendance record.
Technically minded.
Good eyesight.
Able to lift 20kg +.

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

Machine Maintenance.
Improving efficiencies of poor-performing machines.
Assisting production team.
General factory maintenance.
Health and Safety.
Housekeeping.

Ability to handle work pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to troubleshoot problems.
Self-motivated.
Committed to the department as well as company goals and targets.
