Actress Lorraine Moropa has built herself a house. The talented actress, who has joined Mzansi Magic’s drama series The Station as Mbali, took to social media to share the good news.
She said she’s eternally grateful and thanked God.
“I’ve been building a home since last year and now I’m officially a Mastandi! To God be all the glory,” she said.
“You did say that you are not a man that You should lie! Your promises are yes and amen and that the plans you have for us are not to harm us but to make us prosper. I’m eternally grateful.”
In a previous interview with the publication, Lorraine shared that her journey in the entertainment industry has reflected the amount of love God has for her.
“It has been very educational, and I’ve had so much growing to do within a very short space of time. Some things you do not even learn in school, like perseverance. My journey has taught me that,” she said.
“I’ve also learned the importance of wanting more. It is easy to be stagnant because of being comfortable in working in a long-term production that is paying all your bills. I think you will always have an option to choose if you want to be in one production for 10 years, or 10 productions in 10 years. I’ve learned that wanting more gets you more.”
She added that the pandemic was the worst thing to ever happen to the entertainment industry.
However, not having work is not something new for her.
“I have gone without work for a very long time. That is very normal for the industry we are in, which is why I always say that getting booked is nothing but
God’s grace. Serving a God who is rich in mercy has kept me employed even in these trying times,” she said.
“Sometimes you must wrap, recoup and start again. In seasons where I was not shooting, I was always auditioning for my next character and aligning myself in preparation the next big thing.
“It is vitally important that as an actor you take good advantage of seasons where you are not booked,” she said.
