Salary: R10 000.00 – R15 000.00 pm depending on experience
Candidate Requirements
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Logistics Management / Export Controlling / Export Freighting
5 years’ experience in goods exporting
Drivers Licenses and own vehicle
FSSC 22000 compliant certificates (advantage)
Objectives:
We are looking for a result-orientated person to do local goods transporting and international shipping which includes:
Correspond with (air, sea, and road) freighting companies regarding transporting rates
Raise purchase orders for freighting services
Complete booking instruction and documentation for freighters
Schedule and inspect containers for transporting of goods
Update and courier shipping documents to customer
Apply for permit certificates which include Phyto’s, Export and Origin certificates
Tracks all transported goods
Follow up on invoices and delivery notes to correct any discrepancies.
Capture and updates all existing loads on the system
Keep records of operational aspects and coordinate the timing of freight transport
Records goods produced, stocked, ordered and dispatched
Other duties:
Deal with customers enquires
Source raw material when required
Handle small quantity sales orders
Generate customer sales orders and sales purchase orders
