Eskom announces load reduction in 6 provinces
Eskom has issued load reduction notices for six provinces, including Gauteng, Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, Free State, the Northern Cape, and the North West Province.
The power utility says it’s trying to prevent network overloading in high-density areas.
At the same time, there are several power outages across KZN due to recent storms.
Eskom says it’s doing all it can to restore power to affected areas.
