2024 elections: ANC reveals Limpopo premier candidates
The ANC had an impressive showing in Limpopo, garnering 74 percent of the vote.
It’s now begun its search for a successor to premier Stanley Mathabatha.
Three candidates have been identified with Health MEC Phophi Ramathuba topping the list.
Sports, Arts, and Culture MEC Nakedi Sibanda-Kekana also got the nod.
Cogta MEC Basikopo Makamu also has a shot at becoming premier.
The candidates will be interviewed by national party officials during the course of the week.
