Julius Malema might be a fearless politician but he has a soft spot for his family. Giving South Africans a glimpse at his softer side, Juju shared several photos of his wife’s birthday. The EFF leader added sweet messages to his wife, Mantwa Matlala, whom he dubbed his ‘one’. “Happy Birthday Mma go Bašimane,” Malema captioned a photo of himself with his missus.
In another photo Malema and Matlala cut a beautiful pastel pink cake, which was rounded off with pink roses.
Malema went on to share more photos of the birthday celebrations, which also included his eldest son, Ratanang. “Last nights activities, celebrating our own January baby, indeed they are the best. Time must always be available to celebrate with family irrespective of your hectic schedule. #family #celebration #birthday,” he captioned the post.
Malema and his wife, whom he had previously called his ‘management’, tied the knot in 2014.
Although Malema keeps his private life out of the spot light, he often showers his wife with love and appreciation on social media.
