The Johannesburg Metro Police department and City of Joburg have laid wreaths at the spot where Jolidee Matongo died.
The Johannesburg mayor was killed in a car crash on the Golden Highway in Lenasia on Saturday evening.
He was on his way to KwaZulu-Natal for a family commitment after campaigning in Soweto for the local government elections.

Boity Thulo and Anton Jeftha first sparked rumours of romance in February this year. The notorious “Twitter Police” matched the pair’s posts at the same location, just days apart from each other.
