Janusz Waluś stabbed in prison

Chris Han’s killer, Janusz Waluś, has been stabbed by another inmate in prison.

Waluś has been behind bars since the assassination of Hani in 1993.

The Constitutional Court granted Waluś parole, causing outrage from Hani’s widow as well as members of the South African Communist Party.

On Monday, the Home Affairs Department announced that Waluś would stay in the country to serve his parole.

He is reported to be in stable condition.
