Are you an established IT Manager looking for a new challenge? This position is not needing an individual that’s money-hungry, but we need someone that’s wanting to grow their experience within their field.

Your experience within the manufacturing industry would be of great advantage for this opportunity. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the company’s computer systems, implement policies & procedures, supervise staff and maintaining the computing system.

Requirements: a Proven track record of 5 years. Relevant tertiary studies. Managerial experience. Excellent technical knowledge, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
Sound experience in data centre management and data governance.

Must have hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation. Afrikaans 1st language, English 2nd language. Own vehicle and drivers licence is essential

Responsibilities: Full responsibility for information technology and computer systems. Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data. Recruit and Manage IT staff
Training and coaching of employees. Proper communicating of job expectations and appraising their performance. Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions beforehand.

Audit systems and assess their outcomes. Preserve assets, information security and control structures. Handle annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.
