Key roles and responsibilities:
Governance Act at all times in accordance with the IPPF (International Professional Practices
Framework) as mandated by the Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa (IIASA), the Professional Practices Framework for IS Audit/ Assurance (ITAF) and all other relevant legislation and best practice.
Perform audit projects in line with the Tracker Internal Audit Methodology.
Maintain confidentiality of all information gained during the course of the performance of internal auditing duties. Create and maintain authentic, timely and reliable records in relation to your duties.
Perform administrative and miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Work towards the department’s performance targets and maintain suitable records to demonstrate this.
Audit and Risk Projects
Manage projects effectively, complete them within the agreed time budget and to the agreed deadlines and maintain suitable records to demonstrate this.
Collaboration with the Risk Internal Auditors to create and maintain Process Risk Registers in accordance with the Tracker Risk Framework
Support the Quality Compliance Administrator to continuously review quality control processes, procedures and capabilities to sustain the most cost-effective and efficient methods for meeting quality requirements
Learning and Development
Successfully complete the relevant certification and attend training sessions deemed to be advantageous and necessary and take personal responsibility for achieving your agreed personal development plan.
Keep up-to-date with industry and profession issues, trends, and changes and applies such on audit projects.
Qualifications, experience and competencies required:
BCom Degree in Accounting Sciences/ Internal Auditing/ Risk Management Quality Management
Financial (accounting/ auditing), Technology
Microsoft Office competency (Excel, Word)
Grade 12/ Matric
3 to 6 years in risk management, auditing or accounting field
Strong analytical, problem-solving, written/ verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
