
A Former Argentina international has shockingly revealed he was once offered 500,000 pesetas to take out former FC Barcelona star Ronaldinho during a match.
Ronaldinho ws the peak at of his powers during his time with the Catalan giants and was known for embarrasing his opponents at time.
Fernando Caceres represented the likes of Valencia and Celta Vigo, and he remembered one his battles with the 2002 World Cup winner in a Spanish top flight clash.
“We were playing Celta vs Barcelona in Vigo and on the first touch Ronaldinho tried to make, I hit him from behind,” Caceres explained in an interview with the ‘Idolos’ YouTube channel.
“I helped him up and told him I’d been offered 500,000 pesetas (£2,700/$3,400) to take him out. He just looked at me and said: ‘If you can catch me.’
“I didn’t go to mark him anymore.
“I was scared, he was angry and when he got like that, he was very good; a strong and impressive player.”

Angel Gomes has responded to a video circulating on social media which shows the Manchester United teenager visiting a prophet in Nigeria in an attempt to heal his injury woes.
