A Human Resources Coordinator coordinates and implements department activities and projects, as assigned. Provides clerical and office support and assistance to department management. Ensures that all team members are paid correctly and in a timely manner, and assist hotel management in providing a great place to work which is safe, fun, motivational and complies with labour laws and company & brand values.

What will I be doing?

The Human Resources Coordinator coordinates and implements department activities and projects, as assigned. Provides clerical and office support and assistance to department management. Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Execute duties as assigned by the Support Services Manager or General Manager
Manage the HR administration process, covering the whole TM life cycle from recruiting to exit
Process the payroll for all hotel team members. Review accuracy of payroll and deductions, and report all discrepancies to the Support Services Manager
Keep team member files complete and up-to-date, and ensure compliance of HR administration with company policies, labour laws and any other legal regulations relevant to the hotel
Prepare manning & payroll reports
Assist in processing monthly, quarterly, year-end closings and assist in developing the annual payroll budgets & manning guides
Coordinate the performance feedback and talent management process in the hotel
Ensure in close collaboration with HODs a good on-boarding experience to new Team Members on all levels in all departments
Work closely with HODs on developing, training and retaining talent by establishing and robust training and development offering on property
Be aware of planned hotel huddles meetings, learning sessions and attend as required
Administer QA relevant trainings on property to ensure QA compliance, facilitate new hire orientations (NHOs) and other mandatory brand-specific trainings
Assist GM and hotel management in driving engagement & trust
Bring company campaigns such as Travel with Purpose, Thrive@Hilton, Catch me at my best etc to the attention of GM and HODs and engage the hotel
Perform extra accounting duties and other HR administration-related responsibilities as assigned or required (e.g. duties of Support Services Agent Accounting or Support Services Mgr.)
Pro-actively offer to help out in operational departments should the business require it
Be a passionate host and role model in terms of HGI brand personality behaviours
