The successful candidate should have a broad understanding and knowledge of human resources functions, from recruitment, onboarding, handling IR matters as well as attending to functions such as employee compensation to evaluations.

The incumbent’s primary duties will be to:

General:

Provide a high level of customer service to assist the HR team and company’s management in HR matters.
Build strong relationships with employees and management within service providers or stakeholders.
Administering compensation and benefit plans;
organizing trainings, administering employee benefits.
Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
Assist in development and implementation of human resource processes and policies.
Undertake tasks around performance management;
Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.
Ensure compliance with labour regulations.
Oversee workers compensation process, updates and compliance.
Ensure all employee information in the HR information system is accurate and up-to-date.
Assist with termination process involving preparation of separation paperwork, and exit interviews.

Other:

Attend to any adhoc duty reasonably expected in relation to department and/or position

Candidate Requirements

Education:

Any relevant qualification 3-4year qualification (Bcom – HR, Business related; Psychology, or related field.)

Experience and Skills:

Proven experience as an HR Generalist
Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
Good knowledge of employment/labour laws
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office suite; HR systems (i.e. Sage People, ESS) will be a plus
Excellent communication and people skills
Aptitude in problem-solving
Desire to work as a team with a result-driven approach
Additional HR training will be a plus
Strong work ethic and business acumen
Ensure that utmost confidentiality is maintained for all sensitive HR information.
