Looking for a Maintenance Manager for lodge in Hluhluwe
Experience and Knowledge required
Must have at least 5 years experience as a Maintenance Manager in a similar sized operation
Must be experienced/qualified in at least one of the following disciplines – Electrical (single & three phase). Refrigeration and Air-conditioning and have general experience in the following plumbing, sewage treatment systems, water treatment systems, building and general maintenance
Valid unendorsed SA drivers license essential
Assist in all the maintenance including plumbing, electrical (domestic), refrigeration and air conditioning, building, carpentry and general maintenance
Assist in planning the preventative maintenance program
Oversee building projects
Responsible for your budget lines and report monthly on these
Stock purchase and control
Administration and HR related functions
Maintain open communication channels with the lodge managers and camp managers and ensure that clear feedback loops are in place to ensure that status reports on problems are fed back to those who have reported them
Hold frequent meetings with Lodge managers and camp managers
Morning meetings with maintenance staff and make sure that good team work exists and that systems and procedures are adhered to. Apply Now
