Boniswa is feeling the heat from Hlengiwe’s snooping around and Stokkies needs his ‘big scoop’ to be real or he’ll lose out on cold hard cash. Things are stinking of desperation in the latest #Scandal episode.
Hlengiwe is making serious progress in her hunt for the truth about Mthunzi and Siseko Langa’s murder. She’s doing her job as newshound so well that Boniswa is starting to panic. She fears that her role in Velaphi’s death will be revealed, and with good reason – Hlengi is a top-notch journalist. Xolile convinced Romeo to ask the journo to back off, but this fuelled her curiosity even more, and there’s no way she’ll stop digging for the truth now. Boniswa is so desperate, it looks like she’s going to ask Quinton Nyathi, Hlengi’s boss, for help.
Meanwhile, Stokkies promised a big scoop but it looks like it turned out to be nothing more than talk from his ‘informant’. Instead of a fire at the local prison, there will be a meeting – which is not the kind of news Stokkies is going to get paid for. He’s so desperate to have his scoop pan out that he actually went to the prison to convince ‘his guy’ to really burn down the place.
