The Mpumalanga mother accused of killing her four children will be back in court next week. She appeared in the Witbank Magistrate’s Court in absentia on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old mother who’s still in hospital, is facing four counts of murder. She was arrested after handing herself over to the police.
8-year-old Minenhle Maditla, 6-year-old Blessing Maditla, 4-year-old Shaniqua Maditla and 11-month-old Ethan Maditla were found wrapped in blankets on Sunday.
They were last seen alive on the 26th of December.
Their mother is said to have made a phone call to her family, telling them that she had left a Christmas gift for them in her room. The children will be laid to rest on Sunday.
