KwaZulu-Natal: At 12H45 Wednesday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to a shooting outside a hardware store off the R620 in Margate.
Reports indicate that an unknown number of gunmen opened fire on an adult male and adult female sitting in a car in the parking lot.
Medics assessed the scene and found that the adult male driver had sustained fatal injuries after being shot multiple times, and was sadly declared deceased.
The adult female passenger sustained a minor graze to her left leg.
The lady was treated on scene, however declined ambulance transportation to the hospital.
Circumstances leading up to the shooting will be investigated by the SAPS who were on the scene.
