Inherent Requirements

Relevant Maintenance Experience
Valid drivers license would be advantageous

Experience and skills:

Minimum of 2 years experience in a Maintenance environment
Hotel or property Maintenance experience would be advantageous
Electrical and plumbing skills
Industrial kitchen and refrigeration plant experience would be advantageous
Air conditioning and heat pump knowledge
Basic hand tools and electrical knowledge
Must know basic safe working procedure of electrical tools and equipment
The ability to communicate well
Have excellent verbal and written skills
Must be self-motivated with the ability to think and work independently
Must be self-presented and neat and able to interact with guests if and when necessary
Willing to go the extra mile a positive attitude

Main Responsibilities:

Always report to the Duty Manager at the site you work when a task is completed
Never leave a site with tools lying around when you go to fetch equipment
Give feedback after a job to the Supervisor/Manager
Take good care of tools booked out by yourself
Respond to breakdowns and replacing parts
