Guest House Manager Needed – Apply Now:
A Boutique Guest House in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg is
looking to employ a manager will be responsible for the following;
- Responsible for ensuring bed nights and conference turnover is met
- Staff management, scheduling and motivation
- Guest relations and following up on problems
- Ensuring that the property and garden is maintained,taking inventory and ordering what is required
- Site visits
- Produce Quotes for events and conferences
- Assist the reservations team
- Marketing – i.e. running Facebook campaigns and assisting with other campaigns to increase turnover
- Payroll and IR
- Liase with vendors
- Manage functions ( thus could mean out of normal working hours required)
- Produce Quotes and provide Cost allocation information
- Shopping for supplies
- Assist with Cooking when necessary
- Manage the electricity and water usage through monitoring the meters and ensuring leaks are checked weekly
- Good neighbour relations
Please apply if you have hospitality experience and is willing to focus on building revenue
Minimum working experience: 5 years in the hospitality
This is not a live-in position – the candidate has to live in Johannesburg
