Job Description
The main purpose of the job: To ensure the proper and complete recording of information in respect of all
goods received from suppliers and to ensure that relevant persons are immediately notified of anything
significant relating to goods received.
Receiving all stock delivered from a supplier or a return from a customer
Matching all delivery notes received to the corresponding order forms
Ensuring that only good, clean stock is received
Obtaining all delivery notes from Goods Receiving
Processing of a Goods Received Note for each batched delivery note and order
Investigating any discrepancies immediately (i.e. damaged goods, wrong goods)
Batching and forwarding the day’s GRN packs to the Creditors clerk
Filing of GRN’s and other relevant documentation
