George building collapse: Disaster Management confirms all people accounted for
The search and rescue and recovery operations are now over at the collapsed building in George.
Rescuers have revised their tally of 81 people at the site at the time of the disaster to 62.
All bodies have been accounted for meaning the death toll is 33 people.
Garden Route District Municipality Disaster Manager, Gerhard Otto spoke to the publication following the ten-day-long operation.
