KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAS)/ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
STRATEGIC INITIATIVES
Provide a fundamental service to company’s customers and staff, portraying the correct image and attitude.

OPERATIONAL
FINANCIAL
Keeping adequate stock of crockery, cutlery, refreshments and condiments in the respective areas.
Complete Procurement & TJ Roots Register & update Tea Lady Register with stock taken from the storerooms.
Management and safe keeping of all stock in the respective areas in order to prevent abuse.

SERVICE DELIVERY
Ensure neatness and tidiness of boardrooms / departmental kitchens, chill and meeting rooms at all times.
Ensure refreshments, condiments, cutlery and crockery are available at all times for relative meetings and persons.
Setting up meeting rooms, preparing cups, glasses and plates, water, tea and coffee.
Clear away empty crockery and cutlery once the meeting has ended.
Board, Meeting and Chill rooms tables and chairs must always be clean and chairs neatly arranged around the tables.
Ensure neatness and tidiness of kitchen appliances (fridges, microwaves, watercoolers, boilers).
Know how to clean and operate all coffee vending machines in your area of responsibility.
Provide a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness to all coffee vending machines in your area of responsibility.
Ensure coffee vending machines are fully stocked at all times in your area of responsibility.
Reporting of any malfunctioning equipment or items in area of responsibility (doors, handles, locks, taps, boilers, lights, switches etc.).
Team player and reliever for any of the team members on leave or absent.
Demonstrate the “Bayport Way” by adhering to the dress code policy, grooming and personal hygiene standards.
Positive attitude within self and towards others – Motto should be – “I have the drive, initiative and enthusiasm to make things happen”.

INCIDENT REPORTING
Report any incident immediately in your area of responsibility (injury or equipment).
Note down details of Incident and report to any member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
Know the members of the ERT and their contact numbers.
Familiarise yourself with the Evacuation routes and assembly points.
Assist in evacuations by leading visitors out to Assembly Point and report them to the Assembly Point Officer.

Resolve and deal with complaints, conflict and criticism.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

EDUCATION

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Basic adult education minimum Grade 10 (NQF Level 2)

CERTIFICATIONS AND TRAINING COURSES
Basic PC literacy (advantage).
Communication course (advantage).
Training in handling complaints, conflict and criticism (advantage).

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
18 – 24 months relevant experience as a Teal Lady/Cleaner

DESIRED/ PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to understand, read and write in English.
