Introduction

Our client is in the Logistics/Automotive industry based in East London and they are looking for a General Manager for their company.

Duties & Responsibilities

Lead a team of managers and employees providing a parts logistics service in an automotive manufacturing plant.
Regularly interact with client to review key performance indicators and maintenance of the quality management system.
Drive optimal productivity and goal achievement and to determine opportunities for cost reduction and general improvement.
Establish and implement departmental goals, objectives, and procedures in consultation with company directors and client.
Manage required Employee Relations initiatives and processes in order to ensure a stable work environment.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Matric.
BSc Engineering or B Business Science degree (4 years) / NQF level 7.
Graduate in Logistics/Management/Engineering.
15 years experience in a manufacturing/logistics/engineering environment.
10 years experience at senior management level.
