Joburg City manager, Floyd Brink, says they are waiting on more tests to tell them the exact cause of last week’s explosion in the CBD.
But he says they are confident to say it was some sort of gas explosion.
Brink says they should be able to declare the area safe soon.
Meanwhile, people who are staying in the Joburg CBD after last week’s explosion are being assisted with warm meals and water supply.
But Brink says electricity is still a problem.
