President Cyril Ramaphosa off to G20 Summit

President Cyril Ramaphosa is leading the South African delegation to the annual G20 Leaders’ Summit from Friday.

It is the first time Japan is hosting the gathering.

The event is Ramaphosa’s first international engagement since his inauguration.

Finance Minister Tito Mboweni, International Relations Minister Naledi Pandor and Trade and Industry Minister Ebrahim Patel are included in Ramaphosa’s entourage.

South Africa hopes to secure financial and other infrastructure development support at the summit.
