Key Responsibilities:
· Forklift Maintenance and Licensing
· Standing in as the truck driver when needed
· Safety and Packing
· Organising the storeroom
· Loading and Unloading Delivery Vehicles
· General adhoc tasks
· Housekeeping/Cleaning
· Handling Stock, Customer Service
· Merchandising, Stock taking
· Security – awareness, and procedures
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Matric (grade 12)
- Code 10 Driver’s licence and Forklift licence (mandatory), PDP
- Fully vaccinated
- 1-2 years forklift and truck driving experience
Skills and Experience:
Excellent Customer Service
Understanding of Retail and Wholesale
1 year experience (similar role)
Characteristics Required:
Takes ownership and responsibility- including care for the forklift vehicle
Excellent attention to detail
Able to problem solve and solutions orientated
Trust-worthy (honest) and reliable
Effective communication skills
Flawless organizational skills
