Transnet will uplift the force majeure declared in the Ports of Cape Town, Durban, Ngqura and Port Elizabeth on Monday.
It says it is now in a position to service its customers and meet all contractual obligations reliably.
Transnet’s Durban port handles 60 percent of the nation’s shipments.
The ports are also key to shippers from landlocked African countries.
