A KwaZulu-Natal family with seven missing relatives has been left disappointed after a recovered body turned out not to be that of their missing loved one.
Seven members of the same family, including children, were washed away by floodwaters last month.
The family says the past few weeks have been difficult for them but they remain hopeful…
One of the family members said, “I’m really hurt. I was hopeful that we’d find one of the children. I’m really hurt that we’ve travelled such a long way only for us to find out that the body is not of our family member. I am however hopeful that we will eventually find our family members.”
