Corruption cases will be the National Prosecuting Authority’s main focus over the next six months but it says it won’t be targeting politicians unless there’s strong evidence to back a prosecution.
NPA head Shamila Batohi has conceded to Parliament the pace of prosecutions has been too slow.
The NPA was before the Standing Committee of Public Accounts on Tuesday to explain what it’s doing about referrals from the Special Investigating Unit.
