JMPD advises motorists to avoid flooded roads

The Johannesburg Metro Police Department has urged drivers to avoid dangerous routes after the city was hit by heavy rains.
Several accidents have been reported.
JMPD spokesperson Wayne Minnaar detailed areas that were badly affected and said to avoid the N12 in Protea, William Nicol in Fourways, Klipspruit Valley road in Orlando East, and Elias Motsoaledi road passing Dobsonville.
Motorists have been advised to avoid flooded roads and low lying bridges.
