Job Description:
My client is looking for an assertive individual who enjoys information analysis. Strong go-getters with strong communication, negotiation and decision-making skills are invited to apply for this position.
This role forms part of the BU financial management side of the finance department, with the candidate expected to fulfil the complete role of a Financial Manager to the allocated BU’s.
Duties include, but not limited to:
BU specific general ledger reconciliations
Deferred revenue and deferred cost control and reconciliation
Commission calculations
Liaise with other areas of finance in relation to processing of transactions and reconciliations
Preparing monthly management accounting packs
Assisting in preparing Annual Budgets for the respective BU’s
Assisting in regular forecasts for the respective BU’s
Ad-hoc reporting and other requests from the BU’s
Assisting in ensuring timeous
Distribution of financial information to BU’s
Submission of financial information by the BU’s to Shared Services
Collection of BU debtors
Managing roll-out of processes and procedures to allocated BU’s
Special projects and ad-hoc assignments
Education:
BCom/BCom Honors Completed ONLY
Job Experience & Skills Required:
5+ years’ experience in Mining, IT and/or Industrial environment
SAP
IT Literate
Stock Experience
Project management
Good communication & must be a team player
Attention to detail and high accuracy levels
Inspire confidence with Shared Services team members and colleagues
Fast thinker with problem solving capabilities
Must be able to show initiative
Must be able to work in a deadline-driven, HIGH pressurized environment
