Financial Controller Needed – Apply Now: Salary R80000 per month.

A company based in Johannesburg North is looking for a Financial Controller. The suitable candidate must be a CA(SA) with about 3 to 5 years of post-article experience from a multinational organisation.

Duties:

To lead and direct financial transaction processing and reporting ensuring compliance with US GAAP, IFRS and the company’s global accounting policies and procedures. To manage the payroll payment function ensuring payments are timely and in accordance with Human Resources instructions. To coordinate the South African Internals Controls effort and provide support, training and ensure that remediation plans are in place and action.

To provide support in establishing comprehensive policies in South Africa leading to the application of consistency and best practice across all functions.

To facilitate the audit of the company’s Sarbanes Oxley testing with the internal and external auditors. To work with the Regional Internal Controls Group and the Controllers group in respect of internal controls. To manage the administration function ensuring application of best practice across all areas.

To manage the internal and external audit process annually with the auditors and key internal parties. To partner with key functions in the business providing sound decision support and advice. Overseas reporting experience. Ad Hoc duties and request
Requirements:

Minimum: Qualified Chartered Accountant

5 years of experience in Financial Accounting and/ or Financial Management

Staff management experience
