Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana plans to stick to cautious approach

Newly-appointed Finance Minister, Enoch Godongwana, plans to stick to a cautious spending approach.
Speaking to investors, Godongwana said he foresees no changes in the country’s fiscal framework.

He flagged the public sector wage bill, State-Owned Enterprises and rising debt as risks.

Godongwana says while there is a difference in style between him and his predecessor, there will be continuity in policy.
