My client, in the Asset Management industry is seeking a Finance Manager to manage the full financial function as well as manage a busy office. You must be willing to work alone from time to time. You must have proven experience in Accounting and be able to prepare Financial Statements for Audit. Experience with SARS Taxation and Department of Labour Levies will also be an advantage.

My clients business is an independent Asset Manager, so no intense corporate culture but a huge sense of responsibility for the stewardship of our clients assets and towards our team members. The new team member will work in a flat structure and must be prepared to take on different functions as the business develops.

Candidate Requirements
Minimum Requirements

Bcom / BCom Hons + Articles
3 years Accounting experience is essential (Fund Accounting advantage)

Duties & Responsibilities

Monthly management accounts
Preparation of invoices
Loading banking payments
SARS tax filings
Dept of Labour tax filings
Preparation of Companies Financial Statements
Daily and monthly fund accounting processes
Processing of trades
Opening new fund accounts
Liaise with Compliance officer, FICA, Anti money laundering
Office management
Retail and Private Clients interface
