Evan Mawarire came to the spotlight when he protested under #ThisFlag and was even arrested a lot of times. The whole country stood behind him and he was released and fled to South Africa and then to the United States.
Today Robert Mugabe Passed away and Evan Mawarire took to twitter and revealed that Mugabe threatened to kill him. Evan said – “In 2016 Mugabe threatened to have me killed-my response-“There are many things you have the power to do to us Mr President, but there are 2 things you have no power to stop. You cannot stop your sun from setting & you cannot stop mine from rising” Your sun has set Robert. Goodbye”
Robert Mugabe was implicated in a lot of stories that saw the opposition party leaders disappearing and some dying in mysterious cases. This alone has brought mixed feelings as news of his death spreads across the country. Most people are sending their condolences and have concerns and complaints.
