KZN police investigating murder of eThekwini water dept employee

KwaZulu-Natal police are probing the murder of an eThekwini water department employee who was shot and killed Tuesday night.

Police said the body was discovered inside the municipal building with multiple gunshot wounds.

“Police responded to reports of a shooting and upon arrival at the scene, the deceased was found lying dead inside municipality premises with multiple gunshot wounds,” said police spokesperson, Robert Netshiunda.

In September last year, a senior official in the city’s water and sanitation department, Emmanuel Ntuli, was also shot and killed inside a state vehicle in Inanda, north of Durban.
