My client in based in Scottburgh on the South Coast of KwaZulu Natal, is seeking to employ
an Enrolled Nurse to work at retirement facility. The position is a ½ day position, for 5 days a week. The Enrolled Nurse is required to carry out routine assignments in the frail care and in the retirement facility, providing appropriate care to the elderly.
Required Skills
Nursing in a retirement village : 2 to 3 years
Nursing administration experience in a retirement village : 2 to 3 years
Leadership in a Nursing environment in a Retirement Village : 2 to 3 years
Candidate Requirements
Minimum requirements
Grade 12 qualification
Enrolled Nurse qualification, registered with SANC
Minimum 2 years working experience in an Old Age Home setting is essential
Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Assistant to the Registered Nurse is essential
Excellent computer skill, including basic MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook is essential
Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills required for effective interaction (including promoting and maintaining positive relationships) with patients, residents, management and families
Excellent written skills in English, ability to write and type reports and emails.
Excellent track record in providing healthcare to the elderly.
