Ennerdale is burning on Monday morning.
Tyres have been set alight and roads have been blocked as residents there protest over poor school infrastructure.
School children from the area have joined the march.
Police used a stun grenade to get pupils off the road.
Parents and school governing body members addressed police to ensure that children aren’t hurt.
Meanwhile, JMPD spokesperson Wayne Minnaar confirmed that Provincial and James roads have been cleared.
