Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for the research of stories based on daily editorial meetings
Proactively pitch ideas, concepts, and stories against team targets
Communicate in person with subjects and document and archive all recording
Create and edit content tasks as part of the process of story development
Create and edit editorial notes based on team/story requirements
Actively research new stories and contribute towards the team targets
Actively follow up on story leads and document feedback
Archive all reference data and material related company format
Comply with set procedures and standard of the company
Proactively contribute ideas and identify areas for improvement
Accelerate learning and growth through self-development
Perform and execute ad-hoc tasks (when needed)
Minimum Requirements
Applicable degree/diploma in Journalism or English or Media
Proficiency in GSuite and Windows
Competent in writing and storytelling skills
Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
Must be able to multi-task and ensure all tasks are completed within given timeframes
Self-starter: highly motivated / enthusiastic / energetic
Ability to work independently and in a team
Excellent interpersonal skills
Highly organized
Creative flair
Originality
Delivery focused
Self-driven and determined
Analytical and objective, with attention to detail
Able to work under pressure whilst remaining adaptable, focused and flexible
