Easter weekend: 11 people died on Western Cape roads! At least 11 people have died on the Western Cape’s roads between Thursday last week and Sunday.
However, the province’s Mobility department says no incidents have been reported on Sunday.

Department spokesperson Muneera Allie said the N1 and N2 highways are flowing as holiday makers head home from their vacation destinations.
“While we are encouraged by a decline when compared to Easter 2024 for the same period, one life lost is one too many. A peak travel period is expected today as travellers return. We urge all drivers to be cautious and patient if encountering a congested area,” said Allie.
