A well-established Construction Company with a national footprint requires the services of self-motivated and committed individuals for the following vacancy:
Earthmoving and/or Diesel Mechanic
Requirements:
Trade Test Red Seal Certificate
Preferably 5 years’ experience with 3 being in a similar position.
The ability to diagnose and repair, maintain and test earthmoving plant and other internal combustion engines and related mechanical components.
To maintain, test and repair petrol and diesel engines, mechanical parts of lightweight motor vehicles such as transmissions, suspensions, steering and breaks.
Sound knowledge of hydraulics, electronics and pneumatics.
Knowledge regarding types of oils used for earthmoving equipment and machinery.
Computer literate.
Ability to analyse logistical information – to identify and solve logistical problems.
Candidate Requirements
Only candidates with ALL the minimum requirements will be considered. All short-listed candidates will be required to present a Portfolio of Evidence and may be required to undergo psychometric profile assessment.
