Drivers hope for better regulation following e-hailing strike

E-hailing drivers have vowed not to embark on another strike and have committed to having negotiations with the government.

That is according to Gauteng Transport MEC Jacob Mamabolo.

Mamabolo says government will address the issues raised by e-hailing drivers.

E-hailing drivers took to the streets to draw attention to what they say is exploitation, low wages, and lack of regulation in the e-hailing industry.

Mamabolo says the mediation process is yet to start in May.
