DUT condemns misinformation about its registration processes

The Durban University of Technology (DUT) has condemned what it terms misinformation around registration process.

Fake news around the number of available spaces has been circulating on social media platforms. The university says this is in clear violation of the law.

In a statement, the university has advised students not to circulate unverified information that could be used by fraudsters to manipulate unsuspecting victims.

Students are advised to access official DUT statements published on their website only. Friday is the closing date for late, online registration for first-year students.
